•  Offshore oilfield.

•  Located near Anand district of Gujrat in Cambay Basin.

•  India’s first crude oilfield well after Independence.

•  Offshore oilfield.

•  The oldest oilfield in India 

7. Mumbai High

•  Offshore oilfield located 176km west of Mumbai in the Arabian Sea.

•  Rock strata are of Miocene age shale.

•  The highest oil-producing asset of ONGC.

 

8. Bassein Field

•  Offshore oilfield located south of Mumbai high. 

•  With production picking up, its now second highest.

 

9. Panna-Mukta Oilfield

•  Offshore oilfield located about 100km northwest of Mumbai.

•  A joint venture of ONGC, Reliance Industries and BG Group.

 

10. Krishna-Godavari Basin

•  Natural Gas reserve discovered by Reliance Industries in 2003 in KG basin delta, Andhra Pradesh.

 

11. Ravva Oilfield

•  An offshore oilfield in KG Basin Andhra Pradesh.
