5. Vankusawade Wind Park

6. Mamatkheda Wind Park

7. Anantapur Wind Park

8. NALCO Wind Power Plant (Gandikota)

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Government of India Enterprise, has made significant investments in wind power across the country. Its first major project was a 50.4 MW wind power plant commissioned in December 2012 in Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh. This plant consists of 24 wind turbines, each of 2.1 MW capacity. NALCO also has other wind farms in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

9. ONGC Wind Farm

This 51 MW wind farm in the Kutch district of Gujarat is a venture by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The project, which was completed in 2008, was developed by Suzlon Energy and features 34 of their S82-1.5 MW turbines. This wind farm is part of ONGC’s strategy to diversify its portfolio and invest in clean energy sources.

10. Tuppadahally Wind Farm

• Location: Chitradurga, Karnataka
• Capacity: 56.1 MW

The Tuppadahally Wind Farm, situated in the Chitradurga district of Karnataka, is operated by the global renewable energy company Acciona. It is equipped with 34 Vestas V82-1.65 MW wind turbines and has been operational since 2011, contributing to Karnataka’s status as a leading state in renewable energy generation.

11. Kanjikode Wind Farm
